Audience – Managers, supervisors or other staff members in registered and non-registered settings with a responsibility of delivering training, or with the ability and capacity to begin delivering training.
Aims and Objectives: Following attending the course, participants should be able to:
- Identify, discuss and explore the basic competencies of Safeguarding Adults
- Consider the skills and values necessary to deliver effective training
- Use a standardised set of resources to deliver a basic Safeguarding Adults course within their own organisation
Please be aware that we discuss abuse to children, if at any time you need to take a break please do so and let one of the facilitators know in the webinar that you are taking some time out. How to do this will be discussed at the beginning of the webinar. If you feel that you would like to talk to someone if the training has impacted on you we will be around for a few minutes after the session, you can talk to your manager.
