National Safeguarding Adults Week from 18th to 22nd November

It is National Safeguarding Adults Week from 18^th to 22^nd November. Please see attached a resource pack for organisations to use to help raise awareness of safeguarding adults with people who use their services.

This year the pack includes information on:-

• The new co-produced Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland resources which include an A4 poster, A5 folded leaflet and a postcard.
• Recognising signs of self-neglect which includes a new animation for community members.
• Information on the peer support group ‘My Space at My Pace’ which is a hoarding peer group run by Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
• “What is Adult Safeguarding?” face to face information sessions for community groups in Leicester.
• LLR “What is Adult Safeguarding?” online information sessions for LLR community members.
• The YouTube channel of LLR Safeguarding Adults Boards.
• Adult safeguarding resources and safeguarding adults wordsearches.
• ‘Think Carers’ campaign.
